     The Journalism & Broadcasting Center, Inc. (JBC) is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) public service organization. JBC's mission is to empower our youth through exciting career direction, knowledge & experience. JBC's programs have been established for proven results.  

     Since 2009, JBC has been developing what we consider the most exciting and complete youth organization of our time. We have focused allot of time and attention on the development of education & enrichment programming for at-risk students, special needs students and high performance students. With the support of local businesses and in-kind donations we hope to expand our services throughout Dade County to better serve our target audience.

     One of our most exciting programs is our Behind the Screen program, this program gives us the opportunity to give our kids a realistic depiction of what it takes to last in the media industry.  We have done research with various local colleges and universities to come up with an intense curriculum to prepare our members to write, film, edit, direct, produce, etc. We aim to inspire, motivate and direct youth because we feel that a child with direction has a map to a successful future. This program is the core of JBC offering children the opportunity to express themselves in many ways to include: acting, directing, singing, dancing, etc… We will highlight the positive roles that our children are portraying in our neighborhoods and communities abroad. Society tells us that all of children are heading in the wrong direction we intend to reveal the true essence of what our kids are and can be. JBC will produce several quality and tasteful shows, infomercials and short films that will provide hours of family fun.

     With your participation, The Journalism & Broadcasting Center, Inc. can become a template for cities abroad and foster the ideals and dreams that we all once had. This program personifies what we all have dreamed and wanted for our children.
